Description/Significance

For the second time around, JBS has been brought on board as the Owner’s Representative for the expanding franchise of the Galway Hooker Pub. This bar and restaurant will be located in a prime location in the West Village.

The project includes the complete gut renovation of a 5,000 SF bar & restaurant. This fast tracked project includes a number of logistical and schedule challenges ranging from the design and construction of two distinct bars within the same establishment. Working with Derek Sanders, JBS will manage the creation of both a casual and upscale experience of traditional Irish bars.

Responsibilities on the project consist of assembling the design team, managing the design process, Department of Buildings filing and approvals, managing the construction through occupancy and final signoffs.
